Jambhala means Precious golden deity who gathers or brings the wealth of spirituality. He is the Tibetan God of Wealth. Known to bestow material wealth and wealth in virtue, wisdom, spiritual attainment and merit. There are 5 Jambhalas, all of which are manifestations of the compassion of Buddhas and Bodhisattva who aim to guide their followers towards the path to enlightenment. They also aim to help the less fortunate and those suffering from bad luck. Here are the different forms of Jambhala.
The Green Jambhala is the leader amongst the 5 Jambhalas. He is the manifestation of Buddha Amoghasiddhi and is usually shown standing on a corpse, holding a mongoose in his left hand and a skull cup on his right. His right foot is almost always above a snail and a lotus flower. His duty is to protect those who are facing difficulties and those who sincerely chant his mantra.
Om Zambala Zalendharaye Soha
The Yellow Jambhala is the most commonly known Jambhala. He is also the most powerful amongst all the other Wealth Gods. His powers includes the ability to eliminate poverty within the six realms, bestow upon his followers long life, virtues and wisdom. The Yellow Jambhala is commonly seen sitting on a lotus, sun and moon disk while holding a mongoose on his left hand. The mongoose is known to spew out precious jewels from its mouth.
Om Zambala Zalendharaye Soha
The White Jambala is the manifestation of Guan Yin. He is able to get rid suffering of poverty and disease, purify evil karma and karma, prevent disasters and diseases, and guide those along the path to achieve a bodhicitta mind (state of mind of a Bodhisattva). The White Jambhala is depicted sitting on a snow tiger or dragon. He holds a mongoose on his left hand, a wealth banner on his left arm and a gold sword on his right arm.
Om Padma Krodha Arya Jambhala Hridaya Hum Phat
The Red Jambhala is known to bestow upon to his followers abundance, wealth and fame. In ancient times, The Red Jambhala was practiced mainly by Kings and Royalty so that they could gain wealth and also attain support from their people. The Red Jambhala is commonly depicted practising together with his consort, The heavenly mother of wealth who is charge of wealth in the human realm. The Red Jambhala can also bless the practitioner with martial bliss and a harmonious family.

Black / Blue Jambhala
The Black Jambhala is the manifestation of Amoghasiddhi Buddha. He enables all aspirations to be fully fulfilled, remove all misfortunes and obstacles, and prevent theft, bad debts and loss of wealth. He is often depicted standing on the human body this symbolises suppressing human’s ego and the elimination of human desires. His right hand holds a pot of gemstones, and his left hand holds a mongoose that spits gems out of his mouth. Black Jumbara also has a snake chain on his body.
